VIP Detailing ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile vehicle detailing business operating across Auckland, New Zealand. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Privacy Act 2020.

• The address where the service will take place, plus any parking or access notes you provide;
• Vehicle details (make, model, year, colour, size and condition);
• Photos of your vehicle that you choose to upload;
• Booking details — the services selected, preferred date and time, and any notes you add.

Our website may also collect limited technical information (such as your approximate location entered for service-area checks). Map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap and CARTO.

How we use your information

• To provide quotes and confirm and carry out your booking;
• To contact you about your booking, including confirmations and reminders;
• To assess your vehicle's condition before we arrive (from any photos you upload);
• To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run our business, and only as needed:

• Website hosting and form handling (Netlify);
• Secure database and photo storage (Supabase);
• Sending confirmation and reminder emails (Resend);
• Spam protection on our forms (Cloudflare).

These providers process information on our behalf and are required to keep it secure.

Storage and security

Your information is stored securely with the providers above. We keep it only as long as needed to provide our services and meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies are used to make the site and embedded map work. With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising cookies — Google Analytics (to understand how the site is used) and the Meta Pixel (to measure and improve our Instagram/Facebook advertising).
