Terms of Service

These terms apply to detailing, paint correction, coating and related services provided by VIP Detailing ("we", "us") to you, the customer. By booking a service you agree to these terms.

Quotes and pricing

Prices shown on our website are per vehicle and tiered by size. The total shown when you book is an estimate based on the details you provide. The final price may change if the vehicle differs from what was described — for example:

• An additional surcharge may apply for excessively dirty vehicles;
• Pet hair removal and washing/removal of seat covers are not included;
• Pricing includes two seat rows; additional rows are $25 each;
• Some vehicle types (truck, caravan and similar) are priced on assessment.

We will always confirm any additional charge with you before starting.

What's included

Each package lists what it includes. Unless requested, we will not open or clean inside the glovebox or closed storage compartments, and we do not remove, install or clean child seats.

Bookings, cancellations and no-shows

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice by text to +64 274 214 579. Late cancellations or no-shows may affect future bookings.

Access and requirements

As a mobile service, we need a suitable space to work and, where possible, access to power and water at the service location. If we cannot safely access or complete the work on arrival due to site conditions, additional charges or rescheduling may apply.

Your vehicle and liability

We take great care with every vehicle. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, or faults (including failing trim, clips, paint or seals that may be affected by normal cleaning). Please tell us about any sensitive areas or known issues before we begin. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

Photos of our work

We may photograph our work and use those images for our portfolio and social media. The images focus on the vehicle and finish, not identifying details. If you'd prefer we don't, just let us know before your appointment.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
